Urban Portals is a series of short animations in which urban scenes come to life. Each piece animates the texture of real surfaces — doors, windows, walls, and electrical boxes — turning them into hypnotic, pulsating fragments of urban matter.
The project explores the thin boundary between the physical and the digital, between reality and perception. Through motion and rhythm, familiar surfaces transform into portals — transition points between the ordinary and the imagined.
In these pieces, reality and imagination intertwine — revealing the hidden beauty of everyday details we often overlook in the rush of daily life.
Exhibited at PERSPECTIVES - a digital art show held at The Open Gallery, Buenos Aires, Argentina (May, 2025)
